Julie Wrinn, Director

Julie Kuzneski Wrinn became director of the conference in 2007 after serving for three years on its board of directors. A native of Indiana, Pennsylvania, she received Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Virginia. A ten-year veteran of the book publishing business, she held editorial positions at several publishers in Washington, D.C., most notably at Counterpoint Press, the esteemed independent publisher now based in California. Since moving to Kentucky in 2002, she has continued as a freelance copyeditor for Counterpoint authors including Kim Addonizio, Wendell Berry, W. S. Merwin, and Gary Snyder. In addition to directing KWWC, she works as a Philanthropy Writer for the UK College of Arts & Sciences and recently earned an M.F.A. in creative writing from UK.
