Erin Chandler holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University and a Master’s in Theatre from the University of Kentucky. She recently published her first memoir, June Bug Versus Hurricane; the theatrical version was produced at the Lost Studio in Los Angeles. Work as a stage and film actress garnered honors such as Best Actress Dramalogue Award for David Rabe’s In the Boom Boom Room, and Best Ensemble and Best Script for the play and film Lost in the Pershing Point Hotel, which she also produced. Other credits include Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Chicago Hope, Dead Husbands, and the upcoming Ted K. about the infamous Ted Kaczynski. Erin lives in Kentucky, teaches English at BCTC, playwriting at the Carnegie Center, and just opened Rabbit House Books & Notions, a book shop in Versailles, Kentucky that sells new and used books and offers a variety of writing workshops, book clubs and meditation classes.
